I’m not surprised that a person who uses profane words in the act of free speech would take this shoot-yourself-in-the-foot view.

There is a good reason none of the NFL franchises have taken this position with their on field talent.It probably has something to do with the fact the players are the elite of the elite. This makes it more difficult to find replacements to fill the void.

Also, as I understand the point of Shuan’s open letter, it encourages the players to willingly bear the consequences you advocate, should the owners take your deem view of a work stoppage.
