I totally understand your point of view. I’m fighting the same battle. It gets depressing when I look at the very low stats I receive on Medium and the above average stats on my blog where I write about the things that interest me and the point of view I believe should be in the public arena.

Over time, I’ve built up a loyal following around the planet on my blog. I’ve brought the same writing style and interest to Medium. In spite of the low numbers, so far on Medium, I’ve been able to resist the allure to give into the trendy formulas for successful blogging.

I’m going to stay on my high road a little longer. Perhaps, the mountain will come to Muhammad before I grow weary of the low stats.
