I really do care what happens to children taken away from their parents at the U S border. I think every breathing American, especially those who consider themselves patriots, should care about what happens to these children too.
Apparently, Melania Trump, the erstwhile wife of the man who torn children away from their parents at the border, thinks that she doesn't care if the American public knows she “really don’t care.”
This is the message inscribed on a very fashionable jacket Melania chose to wear as she jet setted off to the Texas border. She toured a facility, which houses 17 Latino children. The children have been separated from their parent or parents since crossing the border between Mexico and the U S.
The “I don’t really care” inscription is followed by the question, “Do you?”
I can only imagine how terrifying it must be for the children to be torn away from their parents in a strange land and handed over to adults who “really don’t care” and whose departing comment to them today was “Good luck.”
Melania who partially blames her husband’s arch-rival, the Democrats for the ugly scene at America’s southernmost border this week, punciated the cold callousness of her man’s war against brown children with her fashion statement.
How insensitive can someone in Melania’s position be to essentially wear clothing with such a damning message when juxtaposed with the disfunction at the junction caused by the White House willingness to hold innocent brown children as ransom to build a wall its leader promised would be paid for by Mexico.
To answer your question Melania, I do care and your husband will hear the answer from more Americans who care in November this year and again in November 2020.
