Herbert Dyer, thanks for reading this piece. While I have not read margaret Kimberly’s piece in the Black Agenda Report, I disagree with you both that Omarosa has been an “opportunistic sell-out” her entire life.

She was a lifelong Democrat until 2015 when she joined Trump in his run for President. I can not find any information where she was charged with being an “opportunistic sell-out” when she was a Democrat.

She apparently found Jesus back in 2009, if not before then, when she enrolled into United Theological Seminary. Certainly she had found Jesus by 2011 when she was license to preached. The Black church has not been a strange place for Omarosa. During the height of her relationship with Trump she married her husband Rev. John Newman. Certainly, if she is seen in Black churches it will have nothing to do with the return of the prodigal daughter.

The record indicates Omarosa found Jesus long before she was terminated from her White House job in the Trump administration.

Also, I have to disagree with your O J comparison. Simpson never embraced the Black community. The Black community embraced him during that trial. Moreover, I doubt seriously if Omarosa will frequent civil rights organizations seeking validation. She bigger than their reach.
